Snake is a common name used to designate poisonous snakes from the Elapidae family. The snakes of this family are highly poisonous and inhabit tropical and subtropical regions of the world. One of the main characteristics of these snakes is the presence of fixed teeth with gaps where they inject the venom. These reptiles are varied, ranging from 20 cm to 15 meters in length. Most snakes are oviparous. They have long and slender body, presence of scales on the head and eyes and rounded pupils. Regarding behavior, they are very active. The best known snakes are mambas, coral snake, cobra and sea snakes.
